Centro República de Cuba – Official Visit to Nicaragua

The Secretary-General of the Organisation of Educational Cooperation (OEC), H.E. Mr. Manssour Bin Mussullam, visited the “Republica de Cuba” Centre in Nicaragua to learn about the different programmes for children, such as training, the use of technology in education, the child development model and school meals.

On his arrival at the “Republica de Cuba” Centre in Nicaragua, the OEC Secretary-General was welcomed by students who showed their talent in dance and declamation.

Accompanied by the Minister of Education of the Central American nation, H.E. Mrs. Lilliam Herrera, the Secretary-General of the OEC shared with the students of the centre and invited them to prepare themselves every day to become professionals committed to their people in the future.

The Secretary-General of the Organisation of Educational Cooperation (OEC), H.E. Mr. Manssour Bin Mussullam, toured the classrooms of this public school which has a total of 2,131 students in kindergarten, primary and secondary education.

These are truly extraordinary achievements, knowing full well that here, as in all countries of the world, in particular our countries of the South, there are challenges and difficulties, the goal is to overcome them, but never surrender to a reality of poverty, said the Secretary-General of the OEC, inviting us to never give up on the idea of being able to achieve dreams.
